Items Required (Samagri):

  • Baal Gopal idol or image

  • Panchamrit (milk, curd, ghee, honey, sugar)

  • Tulsi leaves

  • Incense sticks and diya

  • Fruits, sweets (especially makhan-mishri and ladoo)

  • New clothes and ornaments for Baal Gopal

  • Chandan (sandalwood paste) and kumkum

Puja Vidhi (Procedure):

  1. Purification: Clean the puja area and take a bath.

  2. Invocation: Place Baal Gopal idol on a decorated chowki and light a diya.

  3. Abhishek: Bathe the idol with Panchamrit and clean water, then wipe with a soft cloth.

  4. Alankaar: Dress Baal Gopal in new clothes, ornaments, and offer a peacock feather crown.

  5. Offerings: Present tulsi leaves, fruits, sweets, and makhan-mishri to the Lord.

  6. Aarti & Bhajans: Perform aarti with devotion while chanting Krishna mantras or bhajans.

  7. Naivedya: Offer food (bhog) and water, then distribute as prasad.

  8. Closing Ritual: Pray for the well-being of the family and place Baal Gopal in a cradle or bed.
